Matt Pasternak is a creative realist and multidisciplinary designer whose work spans industrial design, spatial strategy, and visual storytelling. He currently works as a Design Consultant at Roche Bobois, where he merges technical precision with aesthetic fluency to deliver tailored furniture layouts and visual proposals for high-end clientele.

Matt's professional path reflects a deep commitment to empathic design. As a CAD Designer at Silvestri California, he created technical drawings and developed sculptural forms for global clients like Apple and Alo Yoga—adapting between conceptual ideation and fabrication-ready documentation. At Pau Hana Surf Supply, he led end-to-end development of market-driven paddleboard products, incorporating user research, modular systems, and workflow optimization.

Originally trained as a multidisciplinary artist, Matt sees design as the convergence of aesthetic clarity, technical constraint, and imaginative experimentation. His roots in tinkering—building handmade toys from school supplies in grade school—continue to inform his curiosity-driven approach to design challenges today.

This site offers a curated selection of projects that reflect Matt’s belief in design as a flexible, joyful discipline—one that bridges disciplines, industries, and ways of thinking.
